Ephemeris

AstroMeeus: Program of type almanac that contains an implementation of some formulas of the book of Jean Meeus on astronomical algorithms. Print monthly calendars with astronomical annotations. In English. 115 Kb (freeware, Win3.1).

AstroWidget: Package of diverse useful programs to make astronomical observations. It calculates positions of celestial objects and times of events. So that he is portable to different operating systems completely is written in Tcl/Tk. AstroWidget is covered by license GPL and therefore its use is gratuitous and frees. Requirements: Tcl/TK equal or superior to 8.0. In Castilian. 90 Kb (source, Linux, HPUX, Solaris, OSF3, Windows, Mac… and any operating system open where Tcl/Tk works).

Ephemeris Tool Light: A reduced version of the program Ephemeris Tool, without the spreadsheet, but with the capacity to create archives of extension CSV, that can be concerned in processors of texts, spreadsheets or programs to handle data bases. In English. 2.6 MB (shareware, Win9X).

MoonCalc: Computer that provides information on the position, age, phase, direction, appearance and visibility of the Moon for any date, hour and location. In English. 235 Kb (freeware, MSDOS).

WinAstro: Conversion between calendars and systems of coordinates, planetary events, physical oppositions and elongaciones, events, events of natural satellites, times of departure, transit and putting, lunar events of comets and asteroids, phases and eclipses, stations, sidereal time and nutation, calculation of aberration parameters, equation of the time, design of sun clocks, equinoxes (orbital elements), calculation of refraction parameters, conversion between equatorial, horizontal, ecliptic and galactic coordinates and, finally, calculation of the lunar planet concealments. In French. 6.3 MB (freeware, Win3.X/Win9X/Me/2000).

WinEphem: Simple and effective, it shows the events of the bodies of the Solar System, as well as the 110 objects of the catalogue of Messier and some of stars and more important objects of deep sky. In English. 70.3 Kb (freeware, Win9X).
