Programs for PalmPC

Compass Star: Application that shows the situation of the four cardinal points. The system that uses to show in screen the wind rose is orienting the device to a celestial object of the Solar System. It is possible to be chosen between the Sun, the Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn. It allows to know the coordinates topocentric (shareware, Palm OS).

Earth&Sun: Application that shows all the area illuminated by the Sun in one hour concrete. It has several types of visualizations: latitude and length of a terrestrial location, hour zone of the location without civil limits, hour of the location, times of departure and putting of the Sun and solar duration and distance between two terrestrial locations. It can be a clock in real time for the devices Palm V (freeware, Palm OS).

Orrery: Visualizer of the position of planets, is in charge to show the orbital points of nine planets in movement, to appreciate the oscillations of position between Mercurio and Venus (shareware, Palm OS).

Planetarium: It calculates the position of the Sun, the Moon, of planets of the Solar System, 1,600 stars more shining and the deep objects of the sky at any time and in any geographic position. Thanks to this utility the observers can find or identify planets in a nocturnal sky cleared or to plan observations (shareware, Palm OS).

Pocket StarChart: The planets, the Sun, the Moon and the horizon will always visualize in the Palm device depending on the present position and hour. It makes the calculations to know that angle of view has and what stars and constellations can be seen then. Also available in color with the name of 2sky (shareware, Palm OS).

Star Pilot Advanced: Software package that allows to make a study and pursuit of the Moon, the Sun and planets. This package includes the following applications: Star Pilot Sun! II, Moon Info, J-Moons, Messier, Planets! and Solstice! (shareware, Palm OS).

TSOL (The Simple Observing Log): Database in which information can be kept from the observations. It allows to the planning of observations through forms and the registry of which they have become (freeware, Win9X/Mac/PalmOS).

TUMOL (The Ultimate Messier Object Log): Application that allows to record and to organize the observations of the objects Messier; also he provides a description of each one of them along with letters for his location and photographies (freeware, Win9X/Mac/PalmOS).
